look what I won!

a very cute red and white polka dot luggage tag from Melanie of Southern Charm Quilts!I thought this tag was so charming, I ordered a few more in the fabrics of my choice. My tags arrived along with a lovely thank you card. Recently, I went on vacation, and with Melanie's tags securely attached to my luggage, my suitcases were so easy to spot!

...how Melanie started...

In Melanie's own words, "I started making totes and quilts for my family on birthdays and Christmas. I started getting alot of requests for them, so I thought "maybe I could sell these". I got a new computer and it has been installed finally, but I am waiting to receive a part before I will be able to access my files. sigh. Also, my mother has not been well at all this year, and looking after her has consumed me. Honestly, I don't know if she will get better. And she had a bad day yesterday and today. So I know I am behind on all my bloggy postings, taggings, and etc. The above posts (along with others I read) brought some joy back in my heart.
