orange
random orange things....

butterfly weed, a plant I started from a seed
detail of sculpture: Power Surge by David W. Martin, powder coated fabricated steel @ $22,500; currently installed in Krutch Park, Knoxville, Tennessee. (In the middle of this sculpture you can barely see part of another sculpture--long vertical green leaves--Whimsy by Pamela Reithmeier.)
I did orange, too. Love your choices! Especially the butterfly weed. I'd like to have some of that in my yard, too. I'm trying to start some that look like that but are pink. We'll see if they live or not!
I almost used "orange" for my O post. I may for the next round! Gorgeous round up of photos as always. The monarch and the flowers are my favorites. Such rich detail.
I am a Denver Bronco fan so go Orange! LOL! I love your photos and the different combinations with the pretty orange. Flowers are brilliant in orange and as always I am enjoying my visits. Enjoy the weekend.

ReplyDeleteI have always loved starting a plant from seed - I'm always overwhelmed with excitement when I see the first bloom on something I grew on my own...
