This week it's open hunt, photographer's choice.
My husband and I went on a short trip to visit our daughter in Cashiers, North Carolina. We stopped in Knoxville, Tennessee on the way. All photos except the phone were taken in Knoxville near Market Square.

This is a very fun meme hostessed by Ashley Sisk in which 5 prompts are given and one must then take a photo to illustrate each one. Come see how others have interpreted these words HERE! You have till Tuesday, June 4 at midnight EST to join in.
Next week's words are:

- Favorite Color
- Sunflare

Great voices - I love that old phone. Brings back memories! I have a friend who lives in Knoxville.
ReplyDeleteVintage phone huh? Yikes! I remember those! Love the name of the gelato shop! Great photos Margaret!
ReplyDeleteNeat! I should try a scavenger hunt sometimes!
ReplyDeleteIt's been 5 years since we went to Tennessee...12 since I went to Kentucky! I so want to go back (but certainly not in July!)
Mmm . . . yummy looking gelato! Great selfie in that last shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection shot :) And the rotary phone is cool too.
ReplyDeleteThe rotary phone is so cool! Does she still use it?
ReplyDeleteCool photos! I love the vintage phone and the close up of the ice cream :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you in that reflection too!
I love the mix of subjects! Cool art work, and of course the old phone is so great. Lovely details.
ReplyDeleteI love your choices! Looks like you had many interesting things to see on your trip. I had fun showing my kiddos how a rotary phone worked when we went to an antique shop...and laughed with the store owner about how, once we started dialing, we hoped we wouldn't forget what number we were on while waiting to dial the next number! I'm pretty sure that's when I aged at least a decade in front of my kids. ;)
ReplyDeleteReally cool photos!
ReplyDeletefun meme -- great shots!
ReplyDeleteNice photos and I don't live too far from Cashiers, NC - I actually live near Asheville. :) Wonderful photo-scavenger hunt. :D
ReplyDeleteLove those photos. The reflective one is way cool!
ReplyDeleteCool compositions! Although the cold one makes me want ice cream, of course. :p
