Lately, I've had fun working with wire...
Getting the star shape was rather difficult.
This was lots of fun to make.
a scarf (or sweater) pin
just experimenting
Fun elements that will be used in making earrings, necklaces, bracelets.
Come join in the fun at Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday. You will be enlightened, charmed, and have some plain ole fun! See more entries HERE. This week our letter is "W."

These area great! I've tried working with wire, and it is REALLY hard. I admire your talent!

Cute! Also twisty. I'm allergic to lots of metals so I don't wear them. But they'd be nice on furniture like curtain clips.
ReplyDeleteWow ~ these are so beautiful and very fun looking! So crafty you are!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the star one best ~ fantastic!

I love the one labeled "just experimenting". Very Celtic in its look.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had some kind of talent like that. The only thing I do is write poetry but that seems to come naturally to me. I wish I could do something useful.
ReplyDeleteWonderful work! You're doing a great job. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave always been in awe of how you can create such lovelies...great "W" word for this week!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love all your playing with wire. Those are great!
ReplyDeleteBecky
I love your wire shapes! I know they are very tricky to make, but you've done it!!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the wire! That is an amazing talent. Thanks for sharing this 'W' post and the cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I've tried working with wire before and it is hard. You are talented.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments, everybody! I have an excellent teacher!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the loopy-loop one in the 4th photo!
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely! I've tried working with wire and it's not that easy. You are very talented!
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I tried to do something with wire once--I could never get it smooth looking. It was not good.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Margaret! you created beautiful shapes! I love the scarf pin :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! And, hey! I know that scarf pin! I LOVE it, and forgot to tell you so! (sigh. There are real disadvantages to having an attention span as short as mine.)
ReplyDeleteYou have my fingers itching to get at some wire now. Hmmm...paperclips?
What pretty things you make. I imagine that the wire would be difficult to work with, but I can see that it allows you to follow your imagination.
ReplyDeleteWhat great wire-work you do!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! I just love wire work!
ReplyDeleteYour wire work is very nice!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I adore that star pendant. It's so unique!
ReplyDeleteHey I like this! Especially the one with the stone, the pendant. Must have been fun to make.
ReplyDeleteMargaret,
ReplyDeleteYou are one talented lady-I love the star but especially the one beside 'experimenting' quite unique!
Thank you for stopping by my blog and visiting yesterday...I hope you are living your life to its fullest but looking at your trip to the Cayman Islands, THAT looks marvelous :)
Have a wonderful day!
Anytime I have tried to do a star shape I get it lopsided. I love the shape of "just experimenting" and with my long hair it would make a lovely barrette.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving comments. I appreciate it!
I love playing with wire too. My first visit to your blog, really enjoyed it:)
ReplyDeleteI love playing with wire but I never make anything cool. I tried making a little tree once...ummm...yeah...no.
ReplyDeleteI like that just because shape. I can see that embellished a bit as a barrette.
It's fun to see you having fun.
Thanks for the smile.
A+
Oh! Great creations! I especially love your scarf pin...and the next one that looks like a love knot (or kind of like the celtic designs).
ReplyDeleteHeading off for bed, but wanted to come by and say thank you for checking out my earlier post about my hubby and my first date :o) And on my post about our son's music (sometimes the connection isnt smooth, so it has little hesitations when it plays). (I would have replied to you in an email, but it just comes up as the "noreply" guy...since your email doesnt show up.) And that is fun to meet Allygatr :o) I saw her comment to you that she mentioned Hawaii, so I popped over to meet her :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
oops! I meant to also add, before hitting the publish comment button!...that is so great that your daughter has donated for Locks of Love.
ReplyDeleteWhen our son was bald, he said for him it was no big deal, but he knew the girls going through chemo and lost their hair had a harder time, so wanted to do that.
Goodnight! And have a wonderful, wonderful week!
Blessings & Aloha!
Please do come by any time and thank you so much for leaving a comment under the posts that you were able to read....it is always fun to find a new comment :o)
