What a joy it is to observe the earth bursting with color! I've been spending a lot of time in North Carolina lately taking my new granddaughter on walks. Bird song fills the air as we cruise the neighborhoods. Every day bring new discoveries.
What Springtime delights have you been particularly taken with this year?

The iris is so beautiful! I'm sure there are some other seasonal plants, but about the only one I ever notice here is plumeria. I'm looking forward to catching at least the tail end of spring on the Mainland next year!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying a bowl of blueberries right now! I love seeing all the flowers and green trees. Spring is definitely my favourite season.
ReplyDeleteThose wild flowers! They're such a happy flower, aren't they? In Sydney we are in the middle of Autumn, it's been nice watching he colour of the leaves change.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring blooms, so colorful! I especially love the mountain laurels. How wonderful to be taking your new granddaughter on walks. :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the mountain laurel flowers. Their buds are quite whimsical! My husband and I are considering relocating to South Carolina to get away from rough winters and enjoy nature more throughout the year. We will probably go down this winter and explore some. :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving seeing the flowers come to life round here at the moment. Spring has sprung!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful flowers captured by your photos! I agree with Natasha, the vivid purples of the Iris are captivating! We have had so much rain here - almost every day - in the last 2 days (3" of rain) - my poor little roses are waiting patiently for some sunshine. I recently planted "Popcorn Roses" which are sprouting buds - hopefully I will be showcasing them soon. Thanks for sharing for beautiful pictures!
