is so Wintery
cold
icy
blustery.
such a great time for
hanging out by the fire
napping with or without kitties (↑Earnest)
making lots of soup
learning a new craft
reading books, visiting with friends, snowboarding (son only), watching movies, playing games.
But also walking in the woods,
capturing nature on film, looking for animal tracks.
Winter, February to be exact, is my birthday, my wedding anniversary, and my son's birthday. That gives us a reason to celebrate all month long...
and a wonderful excuse to get away to somewhere WARM! This post is for the etsy bloggers' team carnival which will be posted on Linda's blog, Pruitt Handcrafts on Monday, February 14th.

LOvely post. That soup looks yummy :)
ReplyDeleteSoup is mandatory during winter. I like to throw off my husband by making soup during the summer, too:)
ReplyDeleteYes, those are the nice things about winter. We miss that - a little bit...
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any snow here but think that any time is a good time to nap with Earnest!

Margaret--I'm so sorry for the glitch in the blogger code! I have added your wonderful post to the listing! Your photos are just wonderfully beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh you have captured it so nicely. Everything looks beautiful. But...I am still sick of it and ready for spring. With all the snow we have there will be mud forever!
ReplyDeleteThe best remedy for cold weather for me is a cat (or more) and an open fire, lol !
ReplyDeleteWe are having a bit of a winter thaw here, but a big storm is moving in tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteI guess I'd better get my soup pot out...
Winter is perfect for napping with kitties! :)
