Snowman Decorations

handmade of felt
I love snowmen!  I have a smallish dedicated snowman tree in my upstairs hallway.

This tree is filled with snowman ornaments collected over several years.  Some have been gifts; some have been bought or won at ornament exchanges.  Some are handmade; some are not.

There are more ornaments closer to the top because I have 2 kitties who like to undecorate the tree.  Balls and stars are especial favorites!

There are a number of stars, white balls, berry wreaths, and icy snowman faces placed throughout.

I'm missing 2 of my favorites right now.  I know I put them in a "safe place."  If only I knew where that is!

I love these wonderful snow people!  They were made by my former store partner Peggy.  (photographed on a tree, but they go elsewhere in my house)

view of downtown Indianapolis from hotel room.  No, this is not a grayscale photo!  It is color!  If you enlarge the photo, you will notice some color in the cars.  It was so dark; like twilight all day long.  And free-z-ing!

Cottage Home Neighborhood website
Cottage Home Neighborhood is a Near Eastside Historic Neighborhood which takes its name from the style of houses built between 1870 and 1900 in this area. Early residents built modest frame cottages in a variety of styles, including shotgun and Queen Anne vernacular. Many of the cottages feature turned posts and spindles, gingerbread trim porches, brackets, and fishscale shingles.

PS:  Once again, blogger is being persnickety.  What you see  (when writing the post) is NOT what you get.  It has its own mind as to the placement of photos and words.  arrggghhhh!
