Waterfowl Lake


a beautiful lake along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies.   The water is a lovely turquoise to seafoam green even on this cloudy day.  In early September most flowers have gone to seed and the greens are touched with gold.










a beautiful spot where my husband and I shared a picnic lunch on a previous visit.  I love this small clump of aspens.  Peeking through the trunks are mountains.

    Beautiful -- love the reflections! That's a sweet place for a picnic -- aspens are so gorgeous when their leaves turn gold!
