Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten

I don't know what kind of bird this is, maybe a tern.  If anyone knows please tell me!

  1. No idea what type of bird it is, but it is a pretty picture!

  2. No idea about the bird, but it makes for a lovely photo.

  3. Great movement/texture in your photo - looks like the bird is drinking from a straw!

  4. I can't recall having seen a bird with a beak like that! Cool capture.

  5. I have no idea about what type of bird it is, but the picture is a great one! Today was my first time linking up with Wordless Wednesday, so thank you very much for stopping by my blog and visiting. =0)

  6. Haha...I agree with Barb, looks like he's drinking from a straw :)

  7. Gorgeous photo--not sure what the bird is, but it looks like it is from the Sandpiper family. Maybe a Dowitcher or a Godwit; they are both shore birds. Although they are usually brownish and this one looks black and white. Maybe a cousin.
