Clements Mountain (8760 ft / 2670 m) along the trail is majestic.
Mountain goats (see 2 above) and bighorn sheep can be seen along this path. In fact, we were just a few feet away from mountain goats at one point.
Along the path...The sky is an ever changing panoply of blue and white and gray.

wow amazing photos, I think my favorite may be of the mountain goat though i'm a real animal lover <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. The photos are great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics! Isn't it amazing how sure-footed the mountain goats are!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking scenery!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I think they'll have snow in late Aug this year, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the goats! I'd love to visit that part of the country some day. I've been to all of the eastern states, but pretty much nothing west of the Mississippi (and still on the continent!).
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning indeed! So incredibly beautiful pictures!

very beautiful. And so nice to hear that the goats and sheep are free to roam. {:-D
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. It seem so strange to see snow on the ground and people in shirt sleeves. It probably gets real cold at night?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous landscape - the air must be fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you have brought back memories to me. Wonderful photos, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Love the colors in the rock!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, your pictures are gorgeous, but then the scenery in Glacier is gorgeous! I haven't been there for about 45 years, and so want to go back. Was planning to go last year, but maybe will make it this year! Wish me luck!
